Unclaimed ChecksLists of unclaimed checks held by the Clerk of the Courts of Santa Rosa County are available for review on this webpage. These checks were deposited with or collected by the Clerk in his official capacities as Clerk to the Courts. Proper attempts to disburse these monies have failed. The claimant shall make sufficient proof to the Clerk of the Court of ownership,(can be receipts, billings or other information backing up claim), and upon doing so shall be entitled to receive any part of the monies so claimed. Claimants must bring a driver’s license or valid government issued photo identification. The unclaimed monies claim form must be completed. Links to this form can be found under Related Documents on the right hand column of this page. If mailing your claim, the claim form must be notarized and you will need to include a copy of your driver’s license or valid government issued photo identification. Businesses must submit the claim form on their business letterhead and the taxpayer identification number must be listed on the form. |
